Scanning

We offer a wide range of high-resolution scanning services. We can handle film formats from 35mm to 8x10, and have successfully scanned everything from tiny disk negatives to panoramic negatives several feet long. We can scan printed material up to 40"x60" in one pass.

We also provide some image retouching and restoration services. We deliver files by disk or online and can provide you with any file size you need. We use Adobe Photoshop CS3 for image editing and have both Windows and Macintosh computers.

Turnaround times for digital work are typically two to three days for smaller jobs (less than 10 images). Please let us know if you are working with a deadline.

We accept cash, checks, JVs, and Visa/Mastercard.
Rush service is an add'l 50%.

Scanning
Standard Scans: 35mm to 4x5 standard format negatives and transparencies, printed material up to 16" x 20". Typical file size is 3000-4000 pixels on the long dimension, delivered as a 300 dpi TIFF, suitable for publication.	$9.00	$14.00
Complex Scans: odd sized film, printed material between 16" x 20 " and 40"x60". Large items may produce very large files (100-300 Mb or more). Items larger than 40" x 60" will require multiple scans.	$36.00	$54.00
Special Scanning: 3-D items or items with nonstandard reflective characteristics (glass, metal, and certain types of old prints) which may require polarization, or any other item requiring special work or extra time. Minimum half hour charge.	$60.00/hr	$90.00/hr

Retouching
Minor flaw correction such as dust removal is included with the scan.
Major repair & restoration or other retouching.	$60.00/hr	$90.00/hr

File Delivery Options
Image file delivery is included with all scans. We can deliver files on CD/DVD for put them on our website for you to download for $5 each.

Please note: If you wish to purchase prints of your reproduced images there will be an additional charge depending on the size of paper used.
